Radiologic Technologist Temporary/Full-Time
Job Summary
We are looking for a Radiologic Technologist to join our team! The Rad Tech would be responsible for assessing patients and safely performing routine radiographic procedures in a busy Imaging Center. Training into other modalities is available and encouraged.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1 year experience (Preferred)
- Certificates and Licenses: ARRT, AHDS and BLS American Heart Association
- Associate degree (A.A/A.S.) or equivalent to a 2-year college or technical school; and one – year related experience and/or training.
Responsibilities: The following job duties that may be performed are as follows:
- Follow instructions from Physicians regarding which area of the patient’s body needs imaging.
- Explaining the test to patients and answer any questions.
- Correctly position the patient and adjust the imaging equipment to the patient.
- Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure to patient by selecting correct technique.
- Working closely with the Radiologist and ensuring exams are completed thoroughly and accurately.
- Sending exams to PACs for reading.
- Cleaning and stocking all rooms.
EHR/PACs:
Epic (not preferred, training available)
Pacs (not preferred, training available)
License/Certification:
- ARRT certification (Required)
- ADHS certification (Required)
- BLS certification (Required)
Schedule/Location:
- Availability at our Eastside location
- Hours of Operation Mon-Fri 7:30am – 5pm
- Schedule is 9.5 hour shifts X 4 days
