Dr. Gomez is a Texas native who moved to Tucson in 2023. She completed her bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences at Rice University. She earned her Medical Degree and completed Pediatric residency at the University of Texas, Medical Branch. Her previous areas of research include pediatric obesity and post-burn outcomes.

Dr. Gomez is happily married and a mother of three. As a mom, she understands parenting first-hand and knows that each child is special and unique. She enjoys getting to know patients and their families and then forming a team in support of the patient’s health and well-being. Dr. Gomez practices evidence-based medicine, while firmly respecting the “mom gut” (when a mother just feels like something is not right).

In addition to being a genuine advocate for her patients’ growth and development, Dr. Gomez has a special interest in preventative medicine, mental health, breastfeeding, and early childhood literacy. She is fluent in Spanish.

In her down time, Dr. Gomez enjoys spending time with her husband, Stephe, and their three daughters, reading, hiking, and exploring Tucson. Most weekends, you can find her cheering on the Arizona Wildcats, Dallas Cowboys,
